Our Sustainability Story

The directors and staff at Discount Carpet Tiles and our associated companies pride ourselves on our policies and approach towards saving our planet. Sourcing of our product ranges is restricted to companies who are themselves responsibly acting to reduce their own carbon footprint, and most have attained Breeam rating or are currently being assessed.

The companies we deal with must comply with the environmental goals we aim to achieve, and we ensure that the gains we make are extended by our suppliers. We not only source our products from certificated companies but we endeavour to source from companies within the locality of our distribution centre, allowing us to reduce the waste and emissions that would otherwise occur from shipping products from overseas. Whilst we cannot source all products nationally, we do not exceed the boundaries of the European Union.

The reduction of emissions doesn’t end there. Not only do we source our products responsibly and at minimal cost to the environment, we also cooperate extensively with multi-drop companies, to ensure not only efficient delivery but environmentally friendly distribution.
